BANJO'S CRISPY P.U.B (Antipolo)

Banjo's Crispy P.U.B is located in Cluster M, Journal, COGEO Avenue, Antipolo Rizal. It's not hard to find since it's in the corner lot. You can use waze or google map to go there with private car.

The place is not too big but enough to accommodate six people since they only have 2 tables. The place is actually for delivery but sometimes, the customers wanted to dine-in so the owner decided to put tables and chairs.

Banjo Perez
Banjo's Crispy P.U.B, owner

Mr. Banjo Perez used to work as an OFW in Dubai. Living abroad is really hard for every OFW specially if they have their families left in the Philippines. While working there, he always think about starting a business in the Philippines so that he could be with his family. He's married with two kids.

"Ang hirap kasing lumalaki iyong mga anak ko na hindi nila ako nakakasama." Mr. Banjo said when I asked him the reason why he chose to just go home in the Philippines instead of continuing his work as an OFW. We all know that we could earn more if we're in abroad but of course, his priority is his family.

He's still in Dubai when he planned the business. The name came from his name itself.

P.U.B is actually an acronym for Pata, Ulo, Bagnet which I really find it witty. At first, I thought it's a typical, pub or resto bar, something like that but no, it's Crispy Pata, Ulo and Bagnet that are in his main menu and specialty.

He's managing the business with his wife. It's really a good thing that he's hands-on with his business because he wanted the consistency of their crispy P.U.B.

Since the place is spacious, he added other foods for their menu like meryenda (fishballs, kikiam, fries, siomai, banana cue and more) which is really hype for the students and others who's really fond of meryenda's.

I tried their chocolate shake while waiting for the crispy pata to be cooked. It's not too sweet which is good for me.

Crispy Pata, Ulo and Bagnet usually take 1 hour to cook that's why they preferred deliveries through Lalamove, or you can pick it anytime one hour after sending a message for orders.

At first, Mr. Banjo honestly said that there's a lot of trial and error before they pursue the business. They wanted to offer crispy pata, ulo and bagnet which people will love and will surely order again for the second time, third time, etc.

He started the business last December 2018. They started it as a delivery business. He cooked at home and take orders from nearby. A lot of people love it so he decided to make it official. He rented a place to launched the Banjo's Crispy P.U.B.

Their crispy pata is literally crispy. The taste, the softness of the meat and the smell is really mouth watering.

This is good for ulam, inuman or handaan. I have no negative comment about this crispy pata. We really enjoyed it and it really tastes good. Babalik-balikan!

One of their bestseller is their sisig.
