Good ambiance + instagrammable place, is just great!

Oh My Tea - #OMT (Maginhawa)

Oh My Tea - #OMT (Maginhawa)
Another thirst quencher from Maginhawa, Oh My Tea is a tea shop that's sharing place with Barney's Burger. They have the same owner, so we think it's a clever idea to just put the two in one place. You can have your teas at the first counter then have something to munch on the other via Barney's.

They have quite a selection of teas to choose from. The flavors are derived from the tea flavors from Thailand and Taiwan.

Although they are sharing with Barney's, the place can still accommodate quite a number of customers that would want to dine in and chill. It's also quite cozy because of the dim interior, which makes it perfect for catching up with friends or just hanging out.

(Left: Assam Salted Caramel Cream / Right: Thai Caramel Tea Cream)

They served us two of their best sellers out of the bunch of the selections.

Assam Salted Caramel Cream tasted good. It has sweet cheese taste and has an aroma of cinnamon.

Thai Caramel Tea Cream literally tastes like caramel but not too sweet.

We also enjoyed our time there because their staffs are accommodating. They are nice enough to tell us more things about their teas and other stuff. Hoping we can come back soon!

Icelavie - Coffee, Tea & Juice (Maginhawa)

Icelavie - Coffee, Tea & Juice (Maginhawa)

We knew that we were going to taste drinks.. but we didn't know we'd be surprise when we finally came and saw what Icelavie can offer!

Located along Maginhawa Street infront of Maginhawa strEAT foodpark, Icelavie is a one stop shop for your iced coffee, tea and juice needs. They have a selection of their flavored juice you'll surely crave for. We actually had a bit of a hard time in choosing the other two drinks we can taste because they already wanted us to experience their Icelavie Signature drink and they have the right to be proud of.

It's under the COFFEE category.

For the TEA category, we chose the Honey Green Tea.. or Elle chose this because she wanted to try it! I am really not into anything green tea, but for the sake of it, I tasted it and yeah, I can repeat that I am really not into anything green tea. But Elle and Lee loved it.

The last of the bunch that we tried is under their LEMON series which is this LEMON KIWI drink. This is my favorite out of the three. If Elle's a green tea gal, I am a lemon gal! For real!

The drinks are good, alright. But what surprised us is the fact that these drinks are served 1 Liter each and for only 109PHP! Imagine our shock. We can't stop talking about how big and cheap these drinks are! Also, we already kind of anticipated that because the drinks are almost 80% ice that the drinks would taste saturated and less tasty but no. That's the thing, they still taste good!

And just when we thought the surprise end there, we learned that they have this customized paper bag/bucket to hold the drinks (with cord to hold) and it's the cutest thing ever!

I mean, just look at that! It's so cute!

Anyway, they have this on their wall. Another cute thing we found!

Also, event though their place isn't that big, it's nice that they have a comfort room.. with bidet at that! The place is clean and cold, the drinks can last up to 4 hours so for long catching up, this might be the perfect drinks for you!
